Treatments for Brugada Syndrome

Atrial Fibrillation Treatments
It is important to note that treatments for arrhythmias must be evaluated and planned by a cardiologist or an electrophysiologist, based on the individual patient’s diagnosis. Treatment options can vary significantly depending on the type of arrhythmia, the severity of symptoms, and the patient’s overall health condition.
Dr. Stefano Grossi has performed over one hundred ablations in patients with Brugada syndrome, making his experience the second largest case series in the world to date.
In 2018, he performed, for the first time in Italy, an ablation procedure for Brugada syndrome using the Stereotaxis robotic magnetic navigation system.

The electrophysiological study
An electrophysiological study is a diagnostic examination used in electrophysiology to analyze the electrical properties of the heart in patients with arrhythmias. Its goal is to understand the underlying mechanisms of the arrhythmia and determine the best medical or ablative therapy.
